Roles and Perspectives in the Law: Essays in Honour of Sir Ivor Richardson
Published in association with VUW Law Review
The conference that gave rise to this volume was held in honour of the Rt Hon Sir Ivor Richardson, on the eve of his retirement as President of the New Zealand Court of Appeal.
The conference brought together a wide diversity spanning eight distinct areas of law:

Yet that proved to be the most valuable dimension of the conference. The juxtaposition of different areas of the law reminded the conference of the importance of underlying principles, tensions, and values that run through the law.
